With 62 new cases COVID total stands at 472 in Udupi

Udupi: With 62 new cases on Wednesday, Udupi district stands second in the total number of positive cases in the state. Udupi has 472 total positive cases making the district second only to Kalaburgi in the state.

Dakshina Kannada reported two positive cases today. 

According to Wednesday bulletin, 267 people tested positive in Karnataka.

All the positive patients in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada are Maharashtra returnees. They are being shifted to COVID hospitals.

Though Udupi stands second in total number of cases, when it comes to active cases, it stands first with 408 patients.
