COVID: 19. Seventy three positive in Udupi

Udupi: The coastal district of Udupi broke all the records on Monday when it recorded 73 positive cases.

Karnataka recorded 187 cases today.

According to the evening bulletin of the 73 three had traveled from UAE. It also placed as many as 26 cases under ‘contact tracing,’ category.

However Udupi DC G Jagadeesha said that the district administration has found the contacts of all except five. 

Dakshina Kannada recorded 4 cases of which one patient suffered from Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) and one had returned from Gujarat. Two patients are categories as ‘contact under tracing.’
