COVID-19: Twenty nine positive in Coastal Karnataka
Mangaluru: The number of positive cases in the coastal districts saw a further increase with Dakshina Kannada recording 14, Udupi 10, and Uttara Kannada 5 positive cases on Sunday.
Though most of them are Maharashtra returnees, 1 patient in Dakshina Kannada had returned from Doha and another from Malaysia. Meanwhile, three are the contacts of P-2287.
In Udupi, one patient is a Doha returnee and all others are from Maharashtra.
In Uttara Kannada four are from Kumta.
Another person had returned from Mascat to Bangalore and was under institution quarantine there for 7 days. Swab was collected and tested at Bangalore and at present he is under home quarantine at Siddapura.
