Most parts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts are likely to experience rain or thundershowers towards Sunday evening or night. In Uttara Kannada district it would be partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers
The temperature is likely to be between 25 to 32 degrees. IMD has issued Yellow alert till June 3 morning. 
The Depression over south coastal Oman and adjoining Yemen moved further southwestwards with a speed of 05 kmph during past six hours and lay centred at 1730 hrs IST of today, the 30th May, 2020 near latitude 17.0°N and longitude 53.9°E, about 20 km west of Salalah (Oman) and 200 km east-northeast of Al-Ghaydah (Yemen). It is very likely to intensify further into a Deep Depression during next 12 hours. It is very likely to move slowly west-southwestwards along south Oman & Yemen coasts.
Meanwhile a low pressure area is very likely to form over Southeast & adjoining East-Central Arabian Sea during next 36 hours and concentrate into a Depression over East-Central and adjoining Southeast Arabian Sea during subsequent 48 hours and likely to intensify further. It is
very likely to move north-northwestwards towards Gujarat & adjoining north Maharashtra coasts during next 4-5 days.
As a result parts of Karnataka and Kerala coast are likely to experience widespread rain or thundershowers.

A low pressure area is very likely to form over southeast & adjoining East-Central Arabian Sea during
next 36 hours and likely to intensify further. Fishermen are advised to avoid deep sea fishing
activity over the region during May 31 to June 04, 2020. IMD is monitoring the situation and further
developments will be updated periodically.
Day 1(31.05.2020):
Strong wind with speed reaching 55-65 kmph gusting to 75 kmph likely to prevail over westcentral Arabian Sea.
Strong wind with speed reaching 45-55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph likely to prevail over southwest Arabian Sea.
Squally weather with wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph likely to prevail over North, Southeast Arabian Sea, Maldives area and Southwest Bay of Bengal.
Day 2(01.06.2020):
Strong wind with speed reaching 60-70 kmph gusting to 80 kmph likely to prevail over Westcentral Arabian Sea.
Strong wind with speed reaching 45-55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph likely to prevail over Southwest, Southeast & Eastcentral Arabian Sea
INCOIS WARNING:
High waves in the range of 2.5 – 3.8 meters are forecasted during 5:30 pm  on 31-05-2020 to 11:30 pm of 02-06-2020 along the coast of Karnataka from Mangalore to Karwar.
High waves in the range of 3.0 – 3.8 meters are forecasted during 5:30 pm  on 31-05-2020 to 11:30 pm of 02-06-2020 along the coast of Lakshadweep Islands from Minicoy to Bitra.
High waves in the range of 2.3 – 3.5 meters are forecasted during 5:30 pm  on 31-05-2020 to 11:30 pm of 02-06-2020 along the coast of Kerala from Pozhiyoor to Kasargod.
Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas during the period mentioned.
