COVID-19: It is 50 in Udupi now

Udupi: With three more positive in Udupi, the total number of COVID cases in the district has reached 50. Of these 47 are active cases.

Of the 138 positive cases in the state on Friday, 3 are from Udupi and one each from Dakshina Kannada and Uttara Kannada districts, and all five had returned to the coastal districts from Maharastra and were in quarantine.

A 29-year-old woman from Dombivili had returned to Belthangady on May 18. Her throat swabs were sent for testing and on Friday she tested positive. She is shifted to Wenlock District Hospital for treatment.
