COVID-19: One more tested positive in Udupi

Udupi: With a person who had come to Udupi from UAE in the recent flight testing positive, the number of positive cases in Udupi increased to 28 on Thursday.

Of these two were under quarantine in Sirsi and so have been taken for treatment in Karwar.

The afternoon bulletin had 27 positive cases. In the evening one more person tested positive.

With the steep increase of positive cases on Thursday, the Udupi district which was under the green zone has overtaken even Dakshina Kannada district in the number of active cases!

The total number of active cases in Dakshina Kannada is 43 whereas in Dakshina Kannada it is 34. The total number of active cases in Uttara Kannada district is 51.

Meanwhile three patients- P-579, P-674, and P-676 have been discharged from hospital in Dakshina Kannada district.
