COVID-19: Three from Dakshina Kannada tested positive
P-674 and P-675 are from Boloor in Mangaluru. P-676 is from Bantwal
Mangaluru: Three from Dakshina Kannada district tested positive on Wednesday, increasing the total number of positive cases in the district to 28.
The 11-year-old female (P-674) and 35-year-old female (P-675) are from Boloor in Mangaluru. They are the family members of P-536.
The third patient P-676 is a 16-year-old female from Bantwal. She is a family member of P-390. She was under medical surveillance and was under quarantine. The sample tested on the 12th-day tested the girl COVID positive.
All the patients were under quarantine and after being tested positive were shifted to the COVID-19 ward in Wenlock District Hospital.The total number of active COVID-19 case in district is 13.
The afternoon bulletin states 19 positive cases in Karnataka of which 13 tested positive at Badami in Bagalkot district, 2 in Bengaluru Urban, and one at Kalburgi.
