Woman from Bantwal tested COVID-19 positive
Mangaluru: The 33-year-old woman from Bantwal is one among the 15 patients tested positive till Saturday afternoon.
The afternoon health bulletin mentions 15 people as positive. Of this Bengaluru Urban and Hirebagewadi in Belagavi district have 6 cases each. Mandya and Chikkaballapur have one each.

According to officials, the patient tested positive today (mentioned as P-489) is from Bantwal Taluk and is the daughter of P-409.
P-409 is a 67-year-old woman from Bantwal and is under treatment at Wenlock District Hospital.
The throat swab of P-489 was sent for testing and today she has been declared positive. She is under treatment at the Wenlock Hospital.
With this the total number of COVID-19 cases in DK district has increased to 18. Of this 4 are active and others have been discharged from hospital.
Bantwal Taluk has recorded four positive cases in one week. Of this one patient died on Sunday and other on Wednesday.
