Udupi: Udupi district Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesh has declared to set up check posts at the district borders.
Due to high number of COVID-19 cases in Kerala, Dakshina Kannada district has already started checking those who come to the district from Kerala. Similarly, Udupi district too will set up check posts to check those who enter the district from Uttara Kannada and Dakshina Kannada district,” he said.
He added that similar check posts would be set up at the borders too.
“People have to undergo thermal scanning in these checkpoints,” he added.
He added that only the urgent cases would be taken up in the DC and AC courts.
