Major Upgrade for Karwar Bus Depot: Foundation Stone Ceremony on Dec 9
Karwar, Dec 08, 2024: The foundation stone ceremony for the renovation of the Karwar Bus Depot under the North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation’s (NWKRTC) Sirsi division will be held on December 9 at 12 noon. The event will take place in the premises of the Karwar Bus Depot.
Fisheries, Ports, and Inland Water Transport Minister and district in-charge Mankal S. Vaidya will inaugurate the event. Karnataka State Marketing and Communication Advertising Agency Limited (KSMC) Chairman Satish K. Sail will preside over the function.
The ceremony will see the participation of Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti, Transport and Muzrai Minister Ramalinga Reddy, Administrative Reforms Commission Chairman R.V. Deshpande, NWKRTC Chairman and Kagwad MLA Bheramgowda (Raju) Alagowda Kage, MP Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, MLAs Shivaram Hebbar, Dinakar K. Shetty, Bhimanna T. Naik, MLCs S.V. Sankanur, Shantaram Budna Siddi, Ganapati Ulvekar, and Karwar Municipal Council President Raviraj Ankolekar, among others.
Senior officials including Transport Department Principal Secretary Dr. N.V. Prasad, Belagavi Division Regional Commissioner Sanjay B. Shettennavar, and NWKRTC Managing Director Priyanka M will also attend.
