Interact District Conference – Youth Carnival 2024 in Ujire
Ujire, Nov 16, 2024: The much-awaited Interact District 3181 Youth Carnival 2024 is set to take place on November 16 and 17 at the Indraprastha Auditorium, SDM College, Ujire. The event, organized by the Belthangady Rotary Club, will see participation from over 600 students from grades 8, 9, and 10 representing Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, and Dakshina Kannada districts.
The inauguration ceremony, scheduled for 9:00 AM on November 17, will be graced by Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, as the chief guest. R. Vikram, District Governor of Rotary Interact District 3181, will preside as the event’s chief dignitary. Several other district-level Rotary officials will also be in attendance.
Carnival Highlights
As part of the Youth Carnival theme-based cultural competitions will be held on November 16 at 5 pm. Group singing, quiz, debate, skit, and essay writing will be held. Other major attractions include:
- Leadership and skill development workshops
- Exhibitions showcasing the innovative talents of Interactors
- A variety of food stalls offering diverse delicacies
- Traditional games and activities from coastal Karnataka, including Lagori.
The two-day carnival promises a vibrant celebration of youth talent, fostering leadership, creativity, and cultural appreciation among participants.
