COVID-19: Kundapur records 110 new cases
Udupi, Oct 12: Udupi district saw an increase in the COVID number on Monday. The total number of positive cases in the district was 319.
While Udupi Taluk registered the highest number of cases (150), Kundapura saw a steep increase in the number. On Monday Kundapur saw 110 new cases. Karkala Taluk recorded 53 cases. Six patients are from other districts.
Death: Male (73). Cause of death: Severe COVID-19 with Acute Respiratory distress syndrome, Sepsis with Multi organ Dysfunction syndrome, Pneumonia, Acute Kidney Injury, Chronic Kidney disease, Hypertension and
Multi-infarct state.
