Canara Vikaas PU College Unveils Student Union Council for 2023-2024

Mangaluru, July 27, 2023: The Canara Vikaas Pre-University College organized a momentous Student Union Council Installation Ceremony on its campus today.

Chief guest of the ceremony, Basty Purushotham Shenoy, a governing body member of the Canara High School Association and coordinator of the Canara Vikaas Group of Institutions, commended the student leaders for their proactive approach in formulating action plans for their respective clubs in the upcoming academic year.

He motivated the students to embrace responsibility both in times of failure and success, urging them to lead their clubs and the student union council with dedication and integrity.

Presiding over the event M. Vaman Kamath, treasurer of the Canara High School Association and correspondent of the Canara Vikaas Group of Institutions, called upon the students to celebrate and embrace the rich cultural diversity evident throughout the college. He emphasized the significance of cooperation and upholding the spirit of democracy among the student body.

The Student Union Council members and heads of various clubs were honored with badges by M. Vaman Kamath. Ayshwarya K, the college principal, administered the oath of leadership to the student representatives.

Parthasarathi J. Palemar, campus coordinator of the Canara Vikaas Group of Institutions, Suguna Nayak, Principal of Canara Vikaas First Grade College were present.

Hithesh M., president of the Science section in the Student Union Council, welcomed the gathering. Anant Vivek Pai, president of the Commerce section in the Student Union Council delivered the vote of thanks.
