PFI Ban: CM Bommai says no place for disruptive activities on this soil
Bengaluru, Sept 28, 2022: Welcoming the Union Government’s decision of imposing a ban on Popular Front of India (PFI) in the country, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said there is no place for disruptive activities in the country when Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are at the helm of affairs.
Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, he said most of the important leaders of PFI had taken training across the border and were operating from there.
“The PFI had been involved in many activities for the past many years. The disruptive activities done by that organisation across the State has been proved. All the States and leaders of CPI, Congress and CPI (M) had requested the Central Government to ban this anti-national organisation. No one must keep in touch with the banned organisation or its associated organisations,” he warned.
