Dasara to be celebrated in grand and meaningful manner: CM Bommai
Mysuru, Sept.25, 2022: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that Mysuru Dasara is being celebrated this year in a grand and meaningful manner.
He was speaking to reporters at Mysuru Airport here on Sunday.
President Draupadi Murmu will inaugurate Dasara 2022 by offering the puja to Goddess Chamundeshwari atop Chamundi Hill on Monday.
“This festival has its own tradition of several centuries. It is also a ‘Naada Habba’ as every citizen celebrates it after harvesting. Mysuru District-In-Charge Minister S.T.Somashekar and officials have worked round the clock and made preparations,” he said.
Replying to a question, he said 108 Ambulance service had stopped due to problems in the server and it had been set right. Health Minister Dr K.Sudhakar was personally monitoring it, he added.
