COVID-19: DK crosses 14,000 mark
Mangaluru, Sep 04: Dakshina Kannada district witnessed a steep increase in the number of cases on Friday.
The district recorded 428 cases of which Mangaluru had 222 cases followed by Bantwal (61), Puttur (54), Sullia (45), and Belthangady (28). Eighteen patients were from other districts.
The number of cases notably increased in Sullia today.
Like in Udupi, in Dakshina Kannada district too the number of symptomatic patients (227) were more than asymptomatic (201).
Deaths: Of the seven deaths, 4 were from Mangaluru Taluk, one from Puttur, and two from other districts.
