COVID-19: Udupi crosses 12,000 mark
Udupi, Sep 03: Udupi district recorded 226 new cases and four deaths on Thursday.
With this, the district has crossed the 12,000 mark in COVID cases. The total number of COVID cases in the district is 12,150.
While Udupi taluk recorded the highest (137) cases, Kundapur and Karkala followed with 59 and 25 cases. Five patients are from other districts. If 118 are symptomatic, 108 are asymptomatic cases.
Deaths: While Udupi taluk recorded two deaths, Kundapur and Karkala recorded one each.
