COVID-19: Cases cross 1000 in Uttara Kannada

Karwar, July 18: It is 115 in Uttara Kannada district. The highest ever positive cases recorded in a day.

In the last one week, the district used to record an average of 70 cases and today it saw a steep rise. This inturn has made the district cross the 1,000 mark in total number of positive cases. The total number of positive cases in Uttara Kannada now is 1,016. Of this 346 are already discharged and 660 are under treatment. 

Haliyal continued to record the highest number of positives with about 50 per cent of the total cases. Every taluks have recorded positive cases except Joida.
