COVID-19: Udupi crosses 5,000 mark
Udupi, Aug 05: Udupi district recorded 173 cases and two deaths on Wednesday.
The district crossed 5,000 mark with total cases reaching 5,141 today.
District bulletin stated that among those tested positive today 111 were asymptomatic and 62 had symptoms.
The district has 2,027 active cases and 3,072 discharge.

Two deaths have been reported in Udupi Taluk- a 72 year old male and 55 year old female. Both had health issues.
The total number of deaths in the district has increase to 44.
