COVID-19: Udupi sees single-day spike of 400-plus cases
Udupi, Aug 13: Udupi district saw a steep increase with 402 new cases today, according to the state bulletin. This is the highest ever single-day increase in the number of cases in Udupi district.
With this, the district has crossed 7,000 mark. The total number of COVID cases has increased to 7,174.
Of this 4,138 are cured and discharged. The total active cases in the district are 2,966.
With one death today, the total number of death has increased to 70 in the district.
