Infrastructure upgradation work at Madgaon: Several trains cancelled on Konkan route

Udupi, Oct 06, 2021: Several trains have been cancelled and regulated due to the infrastructure upgradation work at Madgaon Junction.

The South Western Railway has decided to undertake infrastructure upgradation work at Madgaon Jn. in connection with track doubling between Sanvordem – Chandar Goa – Madgaon Jn. section in Hubballi division on October 10. Following this several train services have been cancelled, a few terminated and regulated.

Cancellation of Trains:

1. Train no. 07419 / 07021 Tirupati / Hyderabad – Vasco Da Gama Weekly Express Special journey scheduled to commence on Oct 7.
2. Train no. 07420 / 07022 Vasco Da Gama – Tirupati / Hyderabad Weekly Express Special journey scheduled to commence on Oct 8.
3. Train no. 01197 Pune – Ernakulam Jn. Weekly Special journey scheduled to commence on Oct 9.
4. Train No. 01198 Ernakulam Jn. – Pune Weekly Special journey scheduled to commence on Oct 11.
5. Train No. 01501 Ratnagiri – Madgaon Jn. Daily Reserved Express Special journey scheduled to commence on Oct 10 and Oct 11.
6. Train No. 01502 Madgaon Jn. – Ratnagiri Daily Reserved Express Special journey scheduled to commence on Oct 09 and Oct 10.
7. Train No. 06602 Mangaluru Central – Madgaon Jn. Daily Reserved Special journey scheduled to commence on Oct 10.
8. Train No. 06601 Madgaon Jn. – Mangaluru Central Daily Reserved Special journey scheduled to commence on Oct 10.

Short Termination of Trains:

• Train No. 01151 Mumbai CSMT – Madgaon Jn. Daily Special journey scheduled to commence on Oct 10 is short terminated at Karmali.

Regulation of Trains:

• Train No. 01113 Mumbai CSMT – Madgaon Jn. Daily Special journey scheduled to commence on Oct 10 is regulated for 2hrs between Sawantwadi Road & Madgaon Jn.
• Train No. 01507 Sawantwadi Road – Madgaon Jn. Daily Special journey scheduled to commence on Oct 10 is regulated for 45 mins between Sawantwadi Road & Madgaon Jn.
