Karwar, Sept 18, 2021: Uttara Kannada district administration has allowed devotees to offer sevas in temples. Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan issued an order regarding this.

Due to an increase in Covid cases, the Deputy Commissioner of Uttara Kannada had issued an order last month. As per the order, sevas were not allowed in the temples.

However now with the number of cases decreasing, the DC has issued a new order.

As per the order, devotees can offer sevas at all the temples. However wearing Mask, maintaining social distancing and other Covid guidelines should be strictly followed.

If the number of cases is found increasing, the order will be withdrawn, the DC added.
