Covid vaccination camp held at MSRS College
Shirva, June 29, 2021: Students, lecturers, and non-teaching staff of Mulki Sunder Ram Shetty College Shirva were administered Covid vaccine at a special drive on June 29.
While 151 doses were administered on Tuesday, the remaining would take it during the second drive to be held in the college shortly. Already most of the staff and non-teaching staff (above 45 years) have taken vaccination.
The vaccination camp was inaugurated by Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon.
“Corona is a worldwide pandemic causing massive devastation. The vaccination drive is conducted to stop further damages and ensure national development,” he said.
Prof Y Bhaskar Shetty, administrator of Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Shirva presided.
Dr. Gayathri of Community Health Center who spoke about the vaccine asked the students not to pay heed to rumors.
Dr. Narayana, the Principal welcomed the guests, Dr. Mithun Chakravarthi, Nodal officer was present on the occasion. Prof Murugeshi T proposed the vote of thanks.
