11 houses damaged in Udupi district
Udupi, May 19, 2021: Eleven houses have been damaged due to rain and lightning in Udupi district.
Officials said that three houses at Kadthala village in Karkala taluk were damaged due to lightning. Five houses in Byndoor and three in Brahmavar Taluk were partially damaged due to rains.
The watermelon crop grown in 3 acre land of Chikkamma Shedthi at Shiroor village in Byndoor Taluk has been destroyed.
