Rear Admiral DK Goswami is Admiral Superintendent of Karwar Naval Ship Repair Yard
Karwar, March 22, 2021: Rear Admiral DK Goswami assumed duties of Admiral Superintendent of Naval Ship Repair Yard, Karwar on March 19.
Rear Admiral DK Goswami was commissioned into the Engineering Branch of the Indian Navy in Nov 1988 and has completed his B Tech (Marine Engineering) at Naval College of Engineering, INS Shivaji Lonavala, and M Tech in Computer Science from IIT Madras.

Over the last 33 years of Naval Service, the Flag Officer has served extensively at sea as Assistant Engineer Officer onboard INS Godavari, Senior Engineer Officer of INS Gomati, and Engineer Officer of INS Beas.
His Staff appointments include tenures at the Directorate of Information Technology and Directorate of Personnel as Joint Director (JD). He has served as Manager and Deputy General Manager in Naval Dockyard, Mumbai, and completed the prestigious Higher Defence Management Course (HDMC) from College of Defence Management (CDM), Secunderabad after which he was appointed as Directing Staff (DS) at CDM.

In the rank of Commodore, the Officer has served as Command Refit Officer (CRO) at HQWNC and headed the Naval Ship Repair Yard, Port Blair as Commodore Superintendent Yard (CSY).
He completed National Security Strategy Course in 2018 at the Distinguished National Defence College, Delhi, and held the appointment of Command Engineer Officer, HQENC before taking over as Admiral Superintendent of Naval Ship Repair Yard, Karwar.
