Mangaluru Police arrest battery thief

Mangaluru, Jan 24, 2021: Mangaluru City Police have arrested a person for allegedly stealing batteries from trucks parked at the NMPT timber yard.

The trucks of Ganesh Shipping Agency are parked at NMPT Timber yard Panambur.

The manager of the Agency filed a complaint at the Panambur police station that on Jan 9 night the batteries of five trucks were stolen.

The Police have now arrested A M Irfan alias Irfan (25), a resident of Bajal. The five batteries have been recovered.
