VHP leaders ask Police Chief to stop cattle trafficking
Mangaluru, Jan 04, 2021: Vishwa Hindu Parishad leaders who met the newly appointed City Police Chief have requested him to put an end to cattle trafficking, cow slaughter and other illegal, criminal activities in Mangaluru City.
The team comprising South Region president Prof M B Puranik, Division secretary Sharan Pumpwell and District president Gopal Kuttar met the Commissioner S Shashi Kumar at his office.
“Mangaluru is witnessing criminal activities like cattle trafficking, cow slaughter, sex mafia, and also terror activities. Other illegal activities like illegal sand transport, drugs are also active in the case. We request you to put an end to all these problems and ensure a healthy society,” the leaders requested in a memorandum.
