Srinivas University hosts National Level Techno-Cultural & Sports Fest “Tech Yuva – 26”

Mangaluru, March 17, 2026: The Srinivas University Institute of Engineering & Technology hosted a two-day national-level techno-cultural and sports fest, “Tech Yuva–2026”, at its Mukka campus on March 9 and 10, drawing participation from more than 1,800 students across institutions.
The event was inaugurated by Shyamprasad Hebbar, Whole Time Director of Diya Systems Pvt. Ltd. and GlowTouch Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and Global Chief People Services Officer at UnifyCX Pvt Ltd, who stressed the growing importance of cyber security awareness in the digital era.

Presiding over the programme, Vice-Chancellor K. Sathyanarayana Reddy said engineering students must adapt to emerging domains such as artificial intelligence, internet technologies, cyber security and green engineering, noting that innovation and research would drive future opportunities.
Dean Ramakrishna N. Hegde delivered the keynote and welcomed the gathering, while Prof Shrinath Rao K introduced the chief guest. Director (Research) Praveen B M proposed the vote of thanks.
The fest, organised under the guidance of Pro-Chancellor A. Srinivas Rao, featured over 45 events spanning technical, cultural and sports categories, marking a large-scale campus engagement with participation from multiple colleges.
