Apply for Hoysala, Keladi Chennamma Award

Karwar, Sept 01, 2022: Women and Child Development department has invited applications for the Hoysala award for boys and Keladi Chennamma Award for girls who have exhibited courage in saving the lives of others in distress (between Aug 1, 2021, and July 31, 2022).

Eligible children born on or after August 1, 2004, should fill the application form prescribed by the Child Development Project Officer or the Department of Women and Child Development and submit it to the Women and Child Development Department, Karwar by September 30.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs 10,000 each and a citation, the deputy director of the women and child development department said in a release.
