Ukraine: Two Udupi students head back to India
Udupi, Feb 27, 2022: Two stranded students from Udupi have started their journey towards India.
Seven students from the Udupi district are stranded in Ukraine of which two have started their journey today.
Officials said that Mranal who is doing his MBBS at Ivano-fran Kivsk national Medical University has left Romania. The flight is likely to arrive in New Delhi at 6 pm.
Another student Niyam Raghavendra too has left Ukraine and entered the Romanian border.
The state and central governments are in contact with the Indian Embassy and making arrangements for the safe return of all the stranded students there.
