Dharmasthala: Padabhisheka offered to Bhagwan Bahubali
Dharmasthala, Feb 02, 2022: Padabhisheka of 216 Kalash was offered to Bhagwan Bahubali by Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade and his family on Wednesday.
Padabhisheka is held every year and this year marks the 40th year of the Pratistapan of Bahubali statue at Ratnagiri in Dharmasthala.

The Padabhisheka was offered with water, milk, tender coconut water, sugarcane juice, turmeric, Chandana, and other ‘Mangala Dravya.’
The students of SDM-Ujire and Siddavana Gurukula and also members of Bahubali Seva Samithi chanted the Pooja Mantra, Panchanamaskara mantra, and Jina Bhaktigeete.
The program ended with Poornakumbhabhisheka, Pushpavristi and Shanti Mantra Patana, and Maha Mangalarathi.
“A house will be like a Mandir if the family follows Vrita and Niyama. Ahimsa is a great value. Happiness through Ahimsa and peace through tyaga is the message of Bahubali’s life. We should follow His principles,” Lalitakirthi Bhattaraka Swamiji of Karkala Jain Math said.
Dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade, Hemavathi Heggade, Shraddha Amith, D Surendra Kumar, Anita Surendra Kumar, D Harshendra Kumar, Supriya Harshendra Kumar, Dr. Neeta Rajendra Kumar, D Shreyas Kumar, Samhita Shreyas Kumar, D Nishal Kumar, Jithesh, Shrutha Jithesh, Maitri were present.
Dr. Shashikanth Jain and Mahaveera Jain Ichilampady compered the program.
