Manipal: Virtual lecture on Subramania Bharati held
Manipal, Dec 15, 2021: Subramania Bharati combined intense poetic qualities and patriotism in his writings, said award winning author Usha Rajagopalan.
She was speaking in an online lecture organized by Gandhian Centre for Philosophical Arts and Sciences (GCPAS), MAHE, Manipal, to mark the death centenary of Subramania Bharati which coincides with 75th year of Indian independence.
She said Bharati’s poetry was inspired by the spirit of freedom struggle and he continues to inspire new generation writers.
Abinaya compered the programme. GCPAS head Prof Varadesh Hiregange many others were present during the programme.
