Dakshina Kannada: Deworming tablet distribution from Nov 23

Mangalore No.21, 2021: As part of deworming program, Albendazole tablets will be distributed at all the government, private schools, colleges, and Anganwadi Centers for children below 19 years from Nov 23 to 27.

Giving details about the campaign, District Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr. Kishore Kumar said that senior officials will launch the program at 10 am on Nov 23 at the PU block of Bed College training school PU block. The tables will be provided to the children in schools and colleges through the nodal teachers.

The tables will be distributed to children between the ages of 1 and 6 at Anganwadi centers. Those children who are out of school and children who do not get tablets in Anganwadi centers will be provided the tablet by the Asha and Anganwadi workers.
