Special train on Konkan route for Christmas and New Year
Udupi, Nov 19, 2021: Special Trains will run between Madgaon Junction and Panvel on Konkan route during Christmas and New Year.
Train no. 01596 / 01595 Madgaon Jn. – Panvel – Madgaon Jn. Special :
Train no. 01596 Madgaon Jn. – Panvel Special will leave from Madgaon Jn. at 4 pm every Sunday from Nov 21 to Jan 2. Train will reach Panvel at 3.15 am on the next day.
Train no. 01595 Panvel – Madgaon Jn. Special will leave from Panvel at 6.05 am every Monday from Nov 22 to Jan 3. It will reach Madgaon Jn. at 6.45 pm on the same day.
The train will halt at Karmali, Thivim, Sawantwadi Road, Kudal, Sindhudurg, Kankavali, Vaibhavwadi Road, Rajapur Road, Adavali, Ratnagiri, Sangameshwar Road, Sawarda, Chiplun, Khed, Mangaon and Roha stations.
Composition : Total 22 LHB Coaches = Composite (First AC + 2 Tier AC) – 01 Coach, 2 Tier AC – 02 Coaches, 3 Tier AC – 06 Coaches, Sleeper – 06 Coaches, Second Seating – 04 Coaches, Pantry Car – 01, Generator Car – 02.

Bookings for the trains will open from Nov 20 (tomorrow) at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) Counters and IRCTC Website.
