IMD issues Orange alert for Coastal Karnataka
Udupi, Nov 19, 2021: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Coastal Karnataka till Nov 20 morning.
The forecast issued at 1 pm today warns of very heavy rainfall (115.6 mm to 204.4 mm) at most of the places in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada district.
Thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka on Nov 19 and 20.
