Delight lights Deepavali
Mangalore, Nov 2, 2021: When I entered the College today the entire campus was differently decorated. Students looked more excited and some looked confused about their performance.
Yes, it was the Deepavali festival celebration conducted by the College of Hotel Management and Tourism. College Campus looked more colorful with students, their colorful attires and lamps across the campus.
They were busy practicing for the evening program. Some of the students planned to perform a tiger dance which is the folk-dance form of Tulunadu. Even the students from other places practiced this and were excited to perform it.
They kept an innovative name for this Deepavali festival “Delights 2021”.
The Dean of Hotel Management and Tourism, BSC Interior designing, Prof Swaminathan was more excited as there were no other programs conducted at the college due to pandemic.
“As the situation has become normal, the Deepavali festival is being conducted to entertain students. It will also make them learn how to organize a program,” he says.
The students of Hotel management and Tourism prepared sweets. The students enjoyed the day with their friends.
