Technical Advisory Committee to decide on reopening lower primary school
Udupi, Oct 08, 2021: The state government which is contemplating starting the Lower Primary Classes after the Dasara holidays, is awaiting a green signal from the Technical Advisory Committee.
Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh spoke to reporters at Udupi today.
“The Chief Minister is keen on opening the school. The final take will be based on the approval from the Technical Advisory Committee,” the Minister said.
He also clarified that the physical classes will not be made mandatory.
“Children in rural areas have internet issues. Therefore the children and their parents in rural Karnataka are keen on reopening the school,” he said.
