Mega Vaccination Drive: Over 1.41 lakh doses administered in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru, Sept 17, 2021: Dakshina Kannada has achieved 94.54% in the mega vaccination drive held on Friday.

The district has set a target of 1.50 lakh and succeeded in vaccinating 1,41,816 people.

Of the total vaccinated on Friday 69,684 took the first dose and 72,132 took the second dose,
Dakshina Kannada District Health Officer said.

Vaccination was carried out at 620 centers in the district.

The highest vaccination was in Mangaluru taluk followed by Puttur, Bantwal, Belthangady and Sullia.
