No Weekend curfew in Dakshina Kannada

Night curfew to continue

Mangaluru, Sept 09, 2021: Dakshina Kannada district administration has decided to lift the weekend curfew.

Following the state government’s order allowing the Deputy Commissioners to decide on weekend curfew, the Dakshina Kannada district administration has issued a revised order today.

Deputy Commissioner’s order issued on Sept 9:

• Night curfew on all days from 9 pm to 5 am in the district.
• No restrictions on shops from 5 am to 9 pm other than following Covid appropriate behavior.
• All shops owners and their staff should be vaccinated at least with one dose.
• Mandatory testing every 10 days and they should co-operate with health teams & local administration in testing and containment measures.
• The restrictions on the border will continue.
• People should wear a face mask and maintain social distancing.
