Fit Raho Udupi Day 1 concludes

Udupi, Sept 06, 2021: The first day of the 75 km marathon concluded at Padukere Balanjaneya Bhajana Mandira after covering 48 km today.
The remaining 27 km will be covered tomorrow.
The run will begin near Mahathma Gandhi Statue in Malpe at 7 am and move via Kadike Sanyasi Mata Circle, Santhekatte Circle, Lakshminagara Busstand, Malpe Police Station, Adi Udupi Junction, Nisarga Sports Club, Ambalpadi Bypass, and conclude at Ajjarkad District Stadium.

Udupi, Sept 06, 2021: Palimaru Matadhipathi Sri Vidyadheesha Tirtha Sripadaru, Mother of Sorrows Church Church Parish Priest Rev Fr Charles Menezes, and Udupi MLA K Raghupathi Bhat inaugurated the ‘Fit Raho Udupi,’ – a 75 km marathon near Clock Tower today.
The marathon is organized by Nation First team- Udupi. Various organizations and institutions have joined hands in this initiative.
Poornaprajna College principal Raghanvera A, Udupi Municipality president Sumithra R Nayak, Udupi City BJP chief Mahesh Thakoor, Municipality standing committee president Girish Anchan, Councillor T G Hegde and Sooraj Kidiyur, and others of the Nation First team were present at the inaugural program.
The Marathon was shown a green signal at Manipal by MAHE Vice-Chancellor M D Venkatesh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. H S Ballal, and others. Doddanagudde Masjid head Nazeer Ahmed addressed the gathering when the marathon reached Manoligujji.
