Devotees to show Aadhaar card at the entrance

Udupi, Sept 04, 2021: Devotees entering Sri Mookambika Temple at Kollur will now have to show their Aadhar card at the entrance and register their details there. Those from Kerala will now have to produce an RT-PCR negative report.

The temple administration has issued a circular in connection to this. The new system has come into force from today.
As per the order, the devotees who come to the temple should provide their Aadhaar card at the entrance and register their name, phone number, and address. If the devotees are from Kerala then they need to submit the RT-PCR negative certificate. The report should not be older than 72 hours.

Since the rise in Covid cases in Kerala, the Karnataka government has made a Covid negative certificate mandatory to enter the state. Now the administration has made it mandatory at the temple too.

The temple has strictly implemented Covid appropriate behaviour including wearing mask and social distancing.
