Udupi: People in Containment Zone to be considered primary contacts

Udupi, Aug 19, 2021: Udupi district administration has decided to consider those staying in the containment zone as the primary contacts.

Udupi Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesh said that the step has been taken to prevent the spread of Covid in the district.

“Those living in the containment zone will be considered as the primary contacts. They have to undergo Covid test,” he said.

He has directed the officials to book criminal cases against those who resist.
