Srinivas University launches B.Tech program in Aerospace and Defence Technology
Mangaluru, Aug 16, 2021: Srinivas University has launched a new course from this academic year- B.Tech program in Aerospace and Defence Technology. This is following an MoU signed between Srinivas University and K-tech Centre of Excellence in Aerospace and Defence on July 27. The MoU mainly focusses on Academic aspects, Research & Development in the field of Aerospace and Defence.
Speaking at the press conference Dr. A Srinivas Rao – Pro-Chancellor of Srinivas University said that Srinivas University was grateful to K-Tech center of Excellence in Aerospace and Defence for bringing the most wanted course since it serves the Indian and Global military.
Dr. P. S. Aithal – Vice-Chancellor, Srinivas University said that Considering the demand and opportunities in the field of Aerospace and Defence, Srinivas University is launching a 4 years futuristic B. Tech. program in Aerospace and Defence Technology under at College of Engineering and Technology in Mukka campus. This is said to be the first of its kind in Karnataka.
“Aeronautic encompasses every branch of engineering. All kinds of technologies are required in this field. This course can breed new technologies further than existing in B.Tech,” Cmde C.D. Balaji (Retd), Chairman of K-Tech CoE A&D said.
K-tech Centre of Excellence in Aerospace and Defense has renowned Scientists and Experts in the Aerospace and Defence domain. They have sophisticated laboratories and software’s supplied by Dassault Systems from France.
The students and faculty of Srinivas University will be greatly benefited from this collaboration to enrich their expertise in the current and futuristic technologies. The MoU mainly focuses on academic and research collaboration in the field of Aerospace and Defense technologies.
