Dakshina Kannada: Restrictions on entry in three temples to continue

Mangaluru, Aug 15, 2021: The restrictions imposed on Kukke, Dharmasthala, and Kateel temples will continue for two more weeks.

Following an increase in Covid positivity rate in the district, and to ensure religious places do not become the spots of Covid transmission, the Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner had imposed restrictions on the entry to three temples in the district.

The restrictions were imposed till August 16. Now Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner has extended it till August 30.

The new order is expected to be issued tomorrow.
