Mangalore University Degree exams postponed again
Mangaluru, Aug 03, 2021: Mangalore University has declared to postpone all exams, classes, and evaluations.
This decision was taken following a letter from the Deputy Commissioner to the University.
In a letter on Tuesday evening, the Deputy Commissioner had asked the Registrar (Evaluation) of Mangalore University to cancel all the exams and classes temporarily.
Because of the increase in the number of Covid cases in Kerala, the Karnataka government has taken various measures. Those coming from Kerala and Maharashtra have been asked to submit RT-PCR report not older than 72 hours.
“Considering the present situation and in the public interest the district administration has to take strict measures to control the spread of Covid and there is no option to provide any relaxation,” the DC said in the letter.
He asked the University to temporarily cancel all the ongoing exams and classes until further directions from the government.
Following this, Mangalore University has decided to postpone all the exams and classes. Evaluation too has been postponed. However online classes will continue.
