Dakshina Kannada: Hike in bus fare
Mangaluru, July 26, 2021: The Dakshina Kannada Regional Transport Authority (RTA) has revised the bus fare.
The Canara / Dakshina Kannada Bus Owners Association and Karavali Bus Owners Association had requested the district administration to revise the bus fare due to various factors.
Considering their demand and the interest of the public, the district administration has increased the bus fare with effect from July 26.
Those buses crossing the toll plazas are allowed to collect toll rates separately from the passengers (00.04 paise per km per passenger).
