Heavy rain likely to continue in Coastal Karnataka
Udupi, July 12, 2021: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heavy rain warning for Coastal Karnataka districts for the next few days. IMD has issued orange alert for Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts.
Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts are experiencing good rain since a week. This is likely to continue for next few days.

Warning for fishermen: Strong wind with speed reaching 40-50 Kmph gusting to 60 Kmph likely over
Karnataka coast. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these sea.
High Wave warning issued by INCOIS:
High waves in the range of 2.5 – 3.9 meters are predicted till 2330 hours of 13-07-2021 along the coast
from Mangalore to Karwar of Karnataka coast. Current speeds vary between 51 – 76 cm/sec.
