Dr Sudhakar inaugurates new PHC building at Charmadi
Belthangady, June 30, 2021: Health Minister Sudhakar K has stressed the need for good treatment at the Primary Health Centre level.
“Government wants to strengthen the Primary Health Centers in the state. Good treatment should be provided to the people at the PHC level. This will ensure good health care in every village,” Sudhakar told after inaugurating the newly constructed PHC building at Charmadi today.
He said 32 PHC are being developed in the district. The compound wall of these buildings were being constructed through MNAREGA.
“Government wants to provide good health service to the people. As the government had managed and controlled Covid, the number of cases have considerably decreased,” he said.
The PHC building at Charmadi has been constructed at a cost of Rs 1.37 crore.
Speaking about the possibility of 3rd wave, Dr. Sudhakar said that the state government was taking all necessary steps.
“State has enough stock of Covid vaccines. The number of camps are being increased. Our aim is to complete vaccination at the earliest,” he said.
Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, MLA Harish Poonja, ZP CEO Dr. Kumar, DHO Kishore, Charmadi Panchayat president K E Prasad, and others were present.
