Dakshina Kannada: Over 11 thousand Degree students vaccinated on the first day

Mangaluru, June 28, 2021: The Mega vaccination drive for the students, staff, and non-teaching staff of Degree colleges has got a good response in Dakshina Kannada.

As the government plans to start Colleges from next month, Mega vaccination drive is held at college campus.

The special drive began on Monday.

On the first day, 12,323 doses were administered in 43 sessions (The district administration had set a target of 14,410 for Monday) Of these 11,696 were students and 627 teachers.

As many as 4,259 were vaccinated in Mangaluru Taluk followed by Bantwal (3,935), Belthangady (2,209), Puttur (1,145), and Sullia (775).

Mega Vaccination Camp will be held at 15 colleges on June 29:

3. St Agnes College
4. SDPT First Grade College- Kateel
5. Sri Dhavala College- Moodabidri

Bantwal:

1. PA College- Mudipu
2. Polytechnic College-Bantwal

Puttur:

1. Govt First Grade College- Bettampady
2. St Phelomena College
3. Pragati Para Medical College

Sullia:

1. Sharada Girls College

Belthangady:
