Heavy rain likely in Coastal Karnataka districts
Udupi, June 9, 2021: Monsoon is likely to intensify in the coastal Karnataka districts.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert till June 11 morning and an orange alert from June 11 to June 12 morning. It has also issued Red alert from June 13 to 14 morning.
IMD has alerted thunderstorms with lightning likely at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka. It is likely to be associated with gusty winds speed reaching 30-40 km at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka from June 12 to 13.
